166. Heartcore Business Works from the Inside Out

I didn’t have a direct calling, I got a nudge to follow my calling. I just made a decision to connect with someone who could partner with me to move forward. He agreed. A year later I left my job and put my efforts into growing Heartcore Business, which is now a thriving company.

In my early 20s, working in Las Vegas, I realized I was striving to make more money and get more autonomy in my job, but I still wasn’t happy. A good friend said, “Shanda, you really should do some personal development!” I took her advice and changes started to happen.

I thought something outside of me was going to make me happy—making more money, or having more freedom. Those things are great, but they’re not what makes you happy. It’s really important to look within and figure out what’s going on inside you.
