99. Life Crisis Opens Doors to Genuine Passion, Authentic Living
Red Katz
How Did You Start Using Your Talents?
A performance career early in life helped provide Red the self-confidence he now experiences in front of his many audiences. But the intervening years of outward entrepreneurial and social success—followed by utter failure—provided the impetus for gaining the inner wisdom he now shares with his audiences and clients.
The Most Impactful Turning Point?
On an upward trajectory in his 30s, Red recalls the word “failure” wasn’t in his vocabulary. “I was doing all the right things, but life had other plans.” After things fell apart, he began to see how unconsciously he’d been living. With open eyes, he began consciously building a new life.
The Most Powerful Lessons Learned?
“Living an unconscious life, without examining your own life’s meaning, ultimately will not work. I want people to face it, know that it’s OK, and see what it’s like on the other side. That’s what I like to do, to open the door so at least they can see it.”
