How Did You Start Using Your Talents?
Answering an ad in The New York Times in 1978, she went to work for a publisher of encyclopedias. At its Cosmos division in Atlanta, Lorelei helped market a machine that demonstrated astrology. In the process she gained a working knowledge of astrology, which she still carries with her today.
The Most Impactful Turning Point?
Working in a traditional human resources position – checking references, gathering work history — Lorelei added her knowledge of astrology to help fill in the picture of each job applicant. “Astrology is a language of human potential, that’s been around forever and that can really provide this missing piece.”
The Most Powerful Lessons Learned?
Each of us has within us a cast of characters, though few people are acquainted with them. For much of my life I didn’t even understand my own cast of characters. I have a fiercely independent side with this gentle, compassionate side. In my work with individuals I help them listen to the voices of all those inner characters.
