Aligning People, Passion and Purpose
Every person is unique. Our life and career decisions should be based on this uniqueness. “Begin with this understanding: ‘I am made this way for a purpose,’ ” Lee explains. “In my work, helping the person align their passion and their purpose then becomes the challenge, but a real fun one.”
Why Is This Important?
We tend to want to be like other people, and we are in many ways, but we’re also different. Other people want to make us like them. There are many ways that people get off base in making their career and life decisions quite often by looking to someone else.
What Are the Key Lessons Learned Here?
Knowing yourself is so important. It’s the first step in managing yourself. You are, after all, the most important person you can ever lead and manage. Understanding how to do that is based upon finding accurate, objective self-knowledge. That’s where a personal assessment with professional guidance can be so powerful.
